This food was so good! As a West Coast transplant, I'm always complaining about East Coast food (it's my nature). With that said, this place is fantastic. Each dish I tried was a delicious complex set of flavors.
The portions are great! Food was priced well. And service was awesome. I love the small touches with the ornate serving platters too. Highly recommend if you like flavorful food. -

***My responses to the owner's reply:
"The following week your husband came to the restaurant and asked for a buffet to-go box. We gave him the box, and also he ordered naan. He examined the buffet, and there was no goat curry, so he didn't take anything. He was concentrated to get goat curry"
Response: True. He wanted goat curry. Do you have a problem with that??
"The next week your husband called and asked if we had goat curry in the buffet or not, but that day we didn't have goat curry, so he never came that week."
Response: Dude - he wanted to have the goat curry! Is it so hard to understand??
"I noticed his box did not go under the category mix-and-match"
Response: Exactly what is this "category of mix and match"? Is there an instruction sheet that you expect your customers to brush up on before visiting your restaurant? Besides I don't quite understand how two orders of naan (which actually weighed more than the goat curry), a tiny bit of chicken biryani (which btw was super sour), and goat curry did not amount to "mix and match". If you consider it to not be mix and match, then you are clearly at the point where you have to distribute handouts to customers so that they may be spared the humiliation you inflict on them.
"He only took goat curry and a very little portion of chicken biryani"
Response: He took the naan too - two orders that too.
"After he paid, I told him very softly. "Excuse me, sir, next time you have to mix-and-match, and if you want one thing only you have to order it separately" but he said very curtly: "I don't think I'm coming back then."
Response: This remark is precisely my problem with you! When I go to a restaurant buffet and am told how I should take the various items, I don't take it too well, and I am sure most people don't either. What are you, my parent? And BTW not everyone can eat everything for various issues such as allergies, diet restrictions, texture issues (which my husband has) etc.
btw, to be able to 'Pick and choose' is actually the reason a lot of people choose buffets and not to 'mix and match' au contraire.
"Now You tell me how I'm able to sell goat curry for $5.99 per pound if I buy a pound of raw goat for $9.00."
Response: How am I supposed to know the details of your economics? And why should I care? If you sell buffet for $6.99 a pound, that's all I know and care about - not where you buy your raw goat from and how much it costs!!
"....think about yourself what you're doing to your business.
God Bless Your Business."
Response: This is getting out of line now.

WOW. I have never seen someone pulloff a faster 180 than this guy (the chef/owner).
They have buffets, also have carryouts by the pound. If you're in a hurry, you'd think that you can just do a quick takeout.
Sounds good? Apparently.
Not really.
The chef/owner has rules for the carryouts- he wants you to "Mix n Match" the various items (whether you like them or not) to an unspecified degree of HIS liking (mind you - NOT yours).
Attached is a photo of my husband's lunch togo box.
Before weighing it, the owner opened the box and checked the contents!! (why??? So weird!! Who does that?? But nevertheless as you can see there are 3 different items).
AFTER checking, he goes on to processing the payment; when it's done he begins berating my husband on how he disapproves of the degree of this Mix n Match, and how he should refrain from doing so in the future.
My husband told me that he had never felt so humiliated ever before at a restaurant.
Of all the pay by the pound takeout places I have been to, I have never seen a rule that forces customers to 'mix n match' the various items, and then be subject to humiliation and reprimand if the degree of mixing and matching does not live up to the owner's satisfaction.
*** I have a nagging suspicion that the owner has multiple fake profiles, one of which is Mike S. and he uses those profiles to vote the negative reviews as 'funny', and the positive reviews as 'useful' as well as 'cool'. All the positive reviews has equal parts useful and cool, votes from...guess who? Mike S.
My older 5-star review got instant 'useful' and 'cool' vote from Mike S.
When I updated my review to the 1-star, the 'useful' and 'cool disappeared and instantly (within a minute) got replaced by 'funny'. This is the creep's way of ridiculing customers that he behaved badly with!!?
TAKE YOUR VOTE BACK MIKE S. -

I totally recommend this place. And Indian place on Little Italy might sound weird, but I can tell you that the food and the service is excellent.
I was recommended to come back and check the buffet, which I believe it's on Lunch time, that gives you to try several plates and have your taste of the Indian cuisine.
Personally I believe that their Garlic Breed is sooo good, their portions are good, more on the bigger side.
Give them a visit. -

Absolutely my favorite take-out Indian food in Baltimore City (and I'm Indian!)
Location/Parking:
Situated in Little Italy, such a gem among all the cute Italian places! Street parking is not hard to find on weekdays, can be more tough on weekends. I've not had a problem finding parking if I circle a few times.
Food/Drink/Vegetarian options:
Amazing, delicious Indian food, with so many varieties to choose from! The Saag is probably the BEST I have ever had. It tastes so incredibly fresh and creamy!! My other favorites include the Palak Chaat, Paneer Tikka Masala and Malai Kofta. Plenty of vegetarian options!! They also have Indo-Chineese food. Being vegetarian, I haven't personally tried the meat options but have had friends who say they are also well-made and delicious. Tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala is a favorite among many friends.
Service:
Very attentive service, however, it's rarely that busy when we go. Carry out food is always ready 15-20 minutes from the time we order it. They package everything really nicely to help prevent spills in the car!
Ambiance:
I've sat inside for dinner a few times, and it's very hole-in-the-wall type decor. Nothing fancy but they do have cute paintings on the walls.
Attire:
Very casual. No dress code.
